Pricing Plans
A data platform for explaining work environments with numbers,
offered at prices aligned with your accountability scope.
About Sustira Pricing
Sustira pricing is not a sensor usage fee.
It's a data platform fee for fulfilling accountability regarding work environment, energy, and CO2.
When explaining workplace considerations to third parties, data reliability and continuity are essential requirements.
Through appropriate investment, we ensure data quality that meets the accountability standards required by management.
Pricing Structure Philosophy
Sustira's pricing is based on your "accountability scope"
Device Count
Scope of visibility
The number of all devices linked to your SwitchBot account (including sensors not used by Sustira). The number you need depends on the size of your office or site.
Example: 5 thermo-hygrometers, 2 CO2 sensors, 1 hub and 1 smart lock on the same SwitchBot account come to 9 devices. Hubs and devices Sustira does not monitor are still counted.
Credentials
Boundary of data collection responsibility
The number of SwitchBot accounts. Separate data sources by site, by department, or by legal entity to make responsibility boundaries clear.
Example: 1 if the whole company runs on a single SwitchBot account; 2 if headquarters and the plant use separate accounts. Splitting into two or more requires the Governance plan or above.
Groups / Rooms
Granularity of explanation and reporting
How closely your organization structure is reproduced. Defines the unit used for aggregation and reporting when you explain your work environment.
Example: a Group is a site or building such as "Tokyo HQ" or "Osaka Plant"; a Room is a floor or room inside it, such as "3F Meeting Room", "1F Entrance" or "Production Line 1".
How the numbers are counted
Translate your own setup into these numbers and the plan you need follows.
| Typical setup | Devices | Credentials | Groups | Rooms | Plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A single office. Logging temperature, humidity and CO2 in the work area and the meeting room | 4 thermo-hygrometers + 1 CO2 sensor + 1 hub 6 devices |
1 one account company-wide |
1 HQ |
2 work area / meeting room |
Base |
| Headquarters and a plant. Logging by floor and by production line | 20 thermo-hygrometers + 4 CO2 sensors + 2 outdoor meters + 3 hubs 29 devices |
1 one account company-wide |
2 HQ / plant |
8 per floor and line |
Manage |
| Multiple sites and group companies, with a separate SwitchBot account per legal entity | Sensors and hubs combined around 80 devices |
3 per legal entity |
6 per site |
30 per floor and room |
Governance |
* Device count is the number of all devices registered on the SwitchBot account, including hubs and devices Sustira does not monitor, such as smart locks and curtains.
* Splitting Credentials into two or more requires the Governance plan or above. Base and Manage cover one SwitchBot account.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Pilot (21-day evaluation period)
What is Pilot?
Pilot is a 21-day evaluation period for understanding Sustira's screens and day-to-day operation before making an adoption decision. You can connect real devices, collect data in your own environment, and use key features such as the dashboard and time-series display. After the evaluation, you migrate to Base, Manage, or Governance to start production use. Pilot is not a permanent free offering, but a limited-term framework for making an adoption decision.
Can we sign a contract without going through Pilot?
Yes. If you can review the screens and features in the demo environment and make an adoption decision, you can start directly on the Base, Manage, or Governance plan. If you need to collect data in your own environment or get a feel for day-to-day operation, we recommend evaluating with Pilot first.
Will I be billed automatically when Pilot ends?
No, no automatic billing occurs. To keep using Sustira after the evaluation period, you need to explicitly migrate to a paid plan (Base/Manage/Governance). If you do not migrate, data viewing becomes unavailable after 21 days.
Can we decide based on the demo alone?
The demo environment lets you check Sustira's screens, features, and data structure. If that is enough to picture the product and judge that it fits your organization structure, you can decide based on the demo alone. If you need to verify actual device connection and data collection, we recommend evaluating with Pilot.
Can data configured during Pilot be carried over to the full contract?
Yes. Devices and data configured during Pilot can be carried over to the full contract, and the data accumulated during the evaluation period remains available.
Pricing and contracts
What are Credentials, Groups and Rooms?
Credentials is the number of SwitchBot accounts you collect data from (you register the API token and secret key pair issued for each account). Groups are sites or buildings such as "Tokyo HQ" or "Osaka Plant", and Rooms are the floors or rooms inside them, such as "3F Meeting Room" or "Production Line 1". Together they set the granularity at which data is aggregated and reported.
For a single office logging the work area and the meeting room, that is Credentials 1, Groups 1 and Rooms 2. Splitting Credentials into two or more requires the Governance plan or above.
Do hubs and unmonitored devices count toward the device limit?
Yes. The device count is the number of all devices registered on the SwitchBot account. Hubs (currently SwitchBot Hub 2 and Hub 3) and devices Sustira does not monitor, such as smart locks and curtains, are included. The SwitchBot API allows 10,000 calls per account per day, and Sustira retrieves information for every device on the account.
If you have many devices that are not monitored, create a SwitchBot account dedicated to environmental monitoring and register that account's credential to keep the count down.
What happens if I exceed the device limit?
We will guide you to an upgrade to a higher plan. Plan changes are possible on a monthly basis. If you expect your device count to grow, or you are unsure which plan is appropriate, please contact us in advance. We will recommend the plan that fits your company's size and use case.
Can we use Sustira outside Japan?
No. Sustira is offered only to customers based in Japan. Foreign-affiliated companies are welcome as long as the contracting entity has an office in Japan — a Japanese subsidiary or branch of an overseas company can use Sustira, and these English pages are provided for exactly that case. We do not contract with entities outside Japan, and we do not support deployments at overseas sites only.
Do I need to purchase devices?
Yes. Supported devices (currently SwitchBot products) must be purchased separately, and device costs are not included in the Sustira fee. See the supported devices page for details.
Is there a contract commitment period?
The minimum contract period is 1 month. For annual contracts, we are happy to discuss payment arrangements.
* Invoice payment (bank transfer) is available only for corporations with a bank account in Japan.
Can we pay by invoice (bank transfer)?
The Base and Manage plans accept credit card payment only, while the Governance and Enterprise plans support invoice payment (available only for corporations with a bank account in Japan).
If you prefer invoice payment, please contact us. We will listen to your requirements and propose the plan that fits best.
Is there any compensation if the Service goes down?
The Service may be temporarily suspended due to maintenance, communication failures, natural disasters, or failures of third-party services (SwitchBot API, Stripe, etc.). We do not refund, reduce, or extend usage fees for the period of suspension. Sustira collects data at 5-minute intervals, but we do not guarantee the immediacy or completeness of that collection.
If we discontinue the Service, we will give notice at least three months before the discontinuation date and refund usage fees for the unexpired period on a pro-rata daily basis. For 90 days from the discontinuation date, you can export your accumulated data in CSV format. See the Terms of Service for details.
Is migration from Pilot to the full contract smooth?
Yes. Devices and data configured during Pilot can be carried over to the full contract, and the data accumulated during the evaluation period remains available. To migrate, select the plan you want (Base/Manage/Governance) in the admin console and register your payment details.
